Support Arizona Beagle Rescue! Arizona Beagle Rescue (AZBR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization comprised of volunteers dedicated to beagle rescue and education. Incorporated in Arizona in 2002, AZBR's mission includes:
Preventing beagles at the shelter from being euthanized
Providing beagle guardians the opportunity to interact with other beagles and beagle guardians
Helping beagle guardians better understand their beagle's temerarment and traits
Guiding people who have found a stray beagle in the appropriate steps to take
Enabling beagle guardians to find their beagle a new home if they can no longer keep or no longer want their beagle
Educating the public on the importance of spay and neuter
AZBR educates the community on the wonderful beagle breed, provides assistance in finding a new home for dogs in need of one, rescues beagles due to be put down in shelters as foster home space permits and promotes animal rescue and adoption. There are countless success stories of beagles who have found new families through AZBR. Tobey's is but one but he's the most important to me as he adopted my family in March 2003. Tobey spent a couple of months thinking he was a cat, due to the presence of three cats, but eventually learned his true identity. It is because of what Tobey has meant to all of us that he and I are partnering with AZBR.
